The Power of Therapy is
To Transform Lives
Hi, I'm Nita.
I am a counsellor with many years of experience journeying alongside children, teenagers, couples, families, caregivers, and the elderly through life’s many ups and downs.
Over the years, I’ve supported individuals from both mainstream and special needs backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, and domestic violence.
My purpose is to hold a safe, compassionate space where people can find clarity, strength, and balance. I believe that healing begins with being truly heard — and with the right support, everyone has the capacity to grow and transform.
If you're looking for a safe space to begin that journey, you may find it here.
Welcome to Therapy with Nita.

My Approach
I combine proven therapeutic techniques with practical coping strategies that clients can apply in their everyday lives. I draw on methods such as mindfulness, cognitive reframing, boundary-setting, stress management tools, and emotion regulation techniques — all tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. By blending professional expertise with genuine care, I aim to empower people not only to cope with their struggles but also to experience meaningful, lasting changes in the way they think, feel, and live.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are your fees?
Please contact me directly for my current fees. I believe therapy should be accessible, so I’m happy to discuss options.
2. Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, I offer online sessions. Online therapy is conducted via a secure, confidential video platform so you can connect from the comfort of home.
3. What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the slot to someone else who may be waiting.
4. Are sessions confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy stays private. The only exceptions are if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. Otherwise, your story is yours, and it’s safe here.
5. What if I don’t know what to talk about?
That’s completely okay. Many people feel this way at first. We can start with whatever’s on your mind, even if it feels small. Often the most important things come out naturally as we talk.
6. What if I don’t ‘click’ with you?
A good connection is important. If at any point you feel I may not be the right fit, it’s absolutely okay to say so. I can even suggest other professionals who might better suit your needs.
7. Is therapy only for people with mental health problems?
Not at all. Therapy can support anyone who wants to feel better, grow, or navigate life’s challenges. It’s a space for self-understanding and support — you don’t need a diagnosis to benefit.
8. How do I know if therapy is working?
You may notice changes in how you think, feel, or respond to challenges. Sometimes progress is subtle — like feeling a bit lighter or more hopeful. We’ll check in often to make sure you’re getting what you need from our sessions.
